Hi San Tan Families,
It was wonderful to meet with you and share the highlights of your child this quarter during Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you did not have an opportunity to come in, I sent the folder of papers home with your child today. I am happy to meet after break or talk on the phone when we return after March 18th. Our class as a whole has made so much progress academically, creatively, and behaviorally, that I look forward to our last quarter together.
Things to anticipate in the last quarter:
• Reptiles
• Amphibians
• STEM Fridays
• Student Treasures class book publishing
• MAP testing
• Tonto Creek Science Camp
• And much more
This week was full of reading, tongue twisters, and activities based on Dr. Seuss. I think my favorite was flashlight reading and Seuss math word problem solving. Ask your child what she/he enjoyed most.
Many thanks to all of you who donated materials for our STEM projects and dinner during conferences. Parents actively helping our school community makes us all stronger.
No Spelling Test next week!
ENJOY SPRING BREAK! With our gorgeous climate, I imagine many of you are staying home and hosting your friends and family from the North.
Ms. Gregersen
